You are now able to create pages with OjaiCMS. This is a big milestone for the project. I will be uploading the first beta to sf.net and Google Code within the next few days.

I also plan on a proper project website. If anyone would like to assists in it’s creation, feel free to contact me.

I started this article back in 2005, and with the help of several WikiHow members, the article now contains numerous tips on how to cut back on greenhouse gases.

You can read the wiki here: http://www.wikihow.com/Reduce-Your-Greenhouse-Gas-Emissions

This article was featured on Google’s WikiHowto of the day module.

It is official, I got my new motherboard, no, not from ECS (those bastards), but from Fry’s. Yes thats right, I actually got out the wallet and bought one. This one is awesome, has everything I need, for the price of a much needed room fan.

Now I can get to work on OjaiCMS and all the other good stuffs.

As everyone has to know, it has been too freaking hot on the past few days. Normally, my town is hot. When the temperature reaches 110f and stays like that all day!

Even after fixing my fan, and running a swamp cooler, it is just too hot.

I have decided to buy yet another fan, this time one that can cool the air to 27f in just a few minutes. Thats right, I’m going to transform my room into a freezer.

Table Fan Mod

July 18, 2006

I’ve been buggered to do this for a while, and it finally got me mad enough to do it. Recently, my nice table fan stopped outputting enough air to make it work having it on. Besides, it’s really loud. I opened the casing, and saw that the fan blades had no lift whatso ever. My solution? Re-mold the blades.

I would post pictures, but just a few minutes ago when this whole modition took place (Yes, thats a new word), I had no intentions on it actually working. But I must say, before you throw your old fan away, see if you can’t tweak it a bit. Not only is it working again, but it is working 300% better than it did when I purchased it a year ago.

Temp PC

July 16, 2006

I really can’t last long without a computer. I have completely cannibalized my server, taken it’s motherboard out, and swapped all the hardware with my case and ram. I’m actually surprised at how fast it runs, considering it’s a 2.5GHZ Intel Celeron. I still however can’t use my brand new PCI-e video card.

Windows says I must restart.

Dead PC

July 15, 2006

Well, I turned my computer on today and no video showed up. I did some searching and it seems that my bios deleted themselves :(

I just sent an RMA request to ECS. Hopefully they will replace it. If not… Bad things will happen. I can’t type much cramped in my server’s closet so time to end this post.

Review: Prey (PC)

July 12, 2006

I decided to buy myself a copy of Prey, because well, after playing the demo I was quite amazed. I have to admit, the graphics are the best I have seen yet on any PC game I’ve owned, which isn’t many. I downloaded it for the 360, and was not as impressed.

I haven’t had time to fully play the game, however; I am very drawn into the plot line which goes something like this:

You are on an Indian Reserve. Your girlfriend lives on the reserve with you as well as all your family. You try to talk your girl into moving away with you because you can’t stand the place. Not before long, the tv talks about strange thinks in the sky. As one could predict, a truck outside the bar is lifted up, then thrown into the bar. Everything in the bar is sucked up by the aliens.

You now find yourself somewhere in space in some form of carrying device. You cannot move much and death seems imminent. However, something blows a machine up and you crash out of the device. Your girl is still on the device and you set out to save her. From here everything gets really weird, such as walking on walls, transportation mirrors and the works.

I’m not going to spoil your fun if you do buy it, so I will stop where the demo ends and let you discover the rest. If I were to rate the game, I would give it an 8.5/10.

Bob Has Died!

July 12, 2006

I don’t know how this exactly happened, but as I was re-installing windows, or repairing it for that matter, the Windows installer decided to format my drive, leaving my non-backed-up Bob source code to perish.

I guess for now the Bob project is over. If I ever get back into it, I will surely re-write it again, this time making a backup.
