Flash Wars now has AI

I just recently wrote an AI engine for Flash wars.

Still not weapons or damage, but thats all easy. The hardest part is next, at least I think. I am going to write an engine to spawn enemies at random intervals and places.

If anyone knows how to make particles in actionscript, please tell me.

How I “hacked” Disneyland and School

This is a double post. I have had two similar events occur which require me to post about. The first being my latest journey to the happiest place on earth.

Last weekend, Nick, his brother, my little brother, and myself went to Disneyland with the goal of getting into the parks without spending money on tickets. This was actually very easy. However, it may be against the rules of Disney, we were fully allowed to be in the park anyways.

Nick’s grandmother has a silver card, a cast member perk which allows you to get four people into the park for free. Sadly, they would not let us into Disneyland because it was a blackout date. Instead, we were allowed to go to California Adventures. This is really how it all started. After only a few short hours, we did everything that was almost remotely fun. We all decided to get into Disneyland somehow.

Nick’s brother, who I will call Jesus, pimped himself out, at least thats what we could see. He somehow got two tickets from a couple leaving the park. Ah, our entry in! But wait! You need a handstamp with the tickets, and we only had two tickets and four people…

Jesus took my brother into the park first, being it was his birthday and if Nick and I could not get in, at least my brother would. Inside the park, Jesus slipped the tickets into a backpack he brought in and pushed it through the fence to Nick. Nick and I went into California Adeventures, hung around for a while, grabbed the tickets out, and made our way to Disneyland. Alas, we got in, no questions asked.

Part 2: “Hacking” School

I cannot go into much detail besides the fact that I do not require government or econ. It would seem so simple as to add an admin password to the main school servers, but I guess no password on windows is just as secure as having a password. If you need proof, ask me and I will show you my schedule. And no, I’ve never taken either of the above mentioned classes.

NOTE: If you are an employee of the School District, you do not know who I am and you did not hear this from me. On a side note, I did the right thing and alerted the school. Hopefully the problem will be fixed.

NOTE: If you are a Disneyland Cast Member, Fix your freaking security. I will be back, and legit this time.

NOTE: I do condone all of the actions I described. I wouldn’t have posted this if I didn’t want you to know how to do it.

On a side note, next time I go to Disneyland, I will capture the process of camera, from the time I get there, to the time I’m in the park by simply asking to be let in.

Geometry Wars in Flash – Flash Wars

I have begun developing a Geometry Wars clone via flash. I love the game so much, that I feel sorry for people who can’t play it. I also wanted to make this flash version so I could play away from the good ole’ (ok new) 360.

NOTE: There is no weapons or bad guys to kill, just a work in progress. Hell, maybe I will make it open source.

Did I mention that this would be my first flash project ever?

OjaiCMS Getting Much Better

I have been working very hard with the owner of Free Fun Guides to be the first website fully powered by OjaiCMS.

The templating engine, which I threw together quickly, works very well. I am going to be getting a server up really soon with a demo where you can mess around in the admin control panel. However, I still need to add a lot more modules.

I have gone out, searching for hosting, and have found some. I will put the site back online as soon as I can. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up.

I will also have a live demo of OjaiCMS running at http://ojaisoft.com/projects/ojaicms/

The current layout is for a site I am making for a client. It is the only current theme made for ojaicms. FreeFunGuides.com will also be the first officially ojaicms ran site.
